A master engine kit for a basic engine rebuild will
basically include the following parts:
Piston, rings, main bearings, rod bearings, cam bearings,
freeze plugs, gasket set, cam, lifters, complete timing kit,
and oil pump.
An engine kit from R.P.M. can be custom built with special
parts; such as, lightweight pistons, special lift cam, H.V. oil
pump, Fel Pro gaskets, moly or plasma- moly or Childs & Albert
z-gap rings, etc. This of course changes the price of an engine
kit.
