Aluminum Connecting Rods

You have a choice of two series aluminum connecting rods.

Forged and polished of 7075 T-6 aluminum.
- Machined in Manley's own CNC milling centers.
- Completely polished on all forging surfaces.
- Totally machined beam.
- Unused bolt threads removed.
- Sets weight matched to + 1.5 grams.
- Lightened caps.
- Big and small ends final honed to + .0002".
- 8740 alloy 7/16" ARP cap screws.
- Rods are .010" shorter than dimensions listed.
"Super 70" Material - Fully Machined Billet. These feature 13% more tensile strength, 13% greater Brinell hardness, approximately half the stretch of 7075 T-6, enhanced fracture toughness, and Impinged surface improves fatigue strength.
- Machined in Manley's own CNC milling centers
- Machined for maximum weight reduction
- Sets weight matched to + 1.5 grams
- Rods are .010 shorter than dimensions listed

Application Explanation
- Ultra Lite: Pro Stock Truck and Competition Eliminator and all engines with lightweight pistons.
- Lightweight: Super Class and Bracket engine applications.
- Nitrous: Nitrous and Super Charged engines or any engines requiring greater rod strength with additional material in critical areas.
- Pro Mod: Pro Mod as well as all severe Super Charged categories. This is on of the heaviest designs made by Manley.
- Alcohol: For N.H.R.A. and I.H.R.A. Alcohol Funny Car and Alcohol Dragsters.
